Free business events empower Everards employees

Leicester Business Festival (LBF) 2023 is under two months away. The festival takes place from 6-17 November and would not exist without the support of local businesses such as Everards of Leicestershire who have backed and contributed to the festival for five years now.

The LBF line-up has up to 80 free events on offer for people to attend. An annual festival that offers a regular moment in the year for people from all areas of business to refresh their skills and gain expertise in marketing, customer journeys, and well-being as well as in professional services such as finance and legal.

Everards of Leicestershire has more than 150 pubs across the Midlands, and many of their business owners have been in their pubs for 10, 15, 25 years, and more which shows that Everards is doing a great job in supporting them to run successful businesses. They even have a club for anyone who has been with them for 25 years or more. Their pub portfolio stretches from traditional to country to city and more, meaning each one has its own unique business needs and qualities.

As well as supporting the festival, each year, many of the Everards team and business owners attend the events put on, to gain valuable insights to support their own business and personal development.

Erika Hardy, Marketing and Engagement Director at Everards of Leicestershire said: “At Everards, we like to do things differently and it’s what attracts many people to come and work with us. People are at the heart of everything we do, whether that's our home team, business owners or our customers, we want everyone to have the best experience and deliver the best experience.

“Leicester Business Festival offers some fantastic events for the Leicester business network. Both our team and our business owners attend events at the festival and not only equip themselves with new, innovative ideas, they also get the chance to connect and network with other local businesses.

“Thanks to the business festival you can be in the room with like-minded business owners from completely different types of businesses than your own, meaning there is fresh thinking and tried and tested examples for everyone to benefit from. All of the speakers involved are brilliant at what they do and it's a privilege that they are taking the time to pass on their knowledge, it says a lot about the Leicester Business network."

Everards of Leicestershire was founded in 1849 by William Everard. Over the years they have moved through the generations and remain an independent family business in its sixth generation.

Brewing a spectacular range of beers such as their legendary Tiger, limited-edition brews, and small-batch beers in their state-of-the-art brewery at Everards Meadows, they have something to suit every taste.

As Everards continues to evolve and invest in its pubs, its community, other independent businesses, and its state-of-the-art brewery in Leicestershire, it looks set for an exciting and bright future ahead.

Leicester Business Festival events feature leading expertise and insights from the creative, education, professional, property, retail, and technology sectors.

Lots of events are already live for registrations, with more going live every day online at www.leicesterbusinessfestival.com and the events are free to attend but places are limited and must be booked in advance.
