Festival offers endless opportunities for businesses
Leicester Business Festival (LBF) is run by businesses for other businesses. The next festival is taking place from 7-18 November. There’s so many ways to get involved including hosting events, attending an event or sponsoring.
So far, the businesses partnering with the 2022 festival include headline partner De Montfort University, East Midlands Chamber, Brewin Dolphin and Pattersons Commercial Law, Midlands Engine Investment Fund, EMBARK CSR, Everards of Leicestershire, Highcross, Mem Saab, and Voluntary Action Leicester (VAL).
Scott Charlish is the Head of East Midlands financial planning at Brewin Dolphin which is one of Britain's leading wealth management firms. Brewin Dolphin are regulars in partnering with Leicester Business Festival as they understand that people and business relationships are integral.
Scott explained the reason for being a key partner in the festival: “The Business Festival is the most unique moment in the business year for Leicester and Leicestershire. All of the events that form the programme are designed to be supportive and educational, as well as giving the added benefit of generating new business relationships and networking.“It’s our sixth year of partnering with the Business Festival. There are many benefits that extend beyond the festival fortnight including regional exposure, commercial insight and a wide range of strategic events which will shape our community. Brewin Dolphin supports positioning Leicester and Leicestershire as a place for quality business across all sectors.
“I personally would encourage everyone to get involved with LBF, whether that’s by hosting an event, attending an event or sponsoring the festival. By taking part you open up new leads and opportunities.”
The feedback from the 2021 was very positive with 83% of attendees confirming that their business benefited from attending an event in the Festival and learning opportunity wise nearly 70% gained useful knowledge. The LBF Team will work with all partners, providing support and advice for everything from event ideas and guidance with the application form to help on how to market and promote their events.
