115 events confirmed in Leicester Business Festival
The Leicester Business Festival programme is now confirmed with all events live on the website and taking bookings.
The Business Festival, headline sponsored by Leicester Castle Business School, De Montfort University (DMU), is taking place from 28 October to 8 November. There are 115 business events of all descriptions, run by organisations far and wide, that will be taking place across Leicestershire during the fortnight.
Nearly every event is completely free and anyone can attend. Tickets must be booked in advance through the website, www.leicesterbusinessfestival.com.
Scott Charlish, (pictured left), head of East Midlands financial planning at Brewin Dolphin is the chair of the Business Festival Steering Group. He said, “I cannot stress enough how brilliant this year’s programme is. It really does have something for everyone. This year these include high-profile events of national significance such as a demonstration of the latest transport technologies which looks at flying taxis; the opportunity to get on the NHS’s supply chain; to face-to-face business meetings with Chinese companies who have travelled to Leicester specifically to strike up business relationships in the LBF.
“There are also a whole range of other business events such as digital marketing, exporting, access to funding and business support and skills and recruitment events that will be incredibly useful for companies of all sizes and descriptions.
“The great news is that almost every event is completely free to attend! Tickets are live on the website and bookable on a first come first served basis, so I urge everyone to get in early as events are sure to fill up very quickly.”
The Business Festival is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year and Leicester Castle Business School has been the headline partner for the past three years, really demonstrating the outstanding commitment by the University to the business community.
